Corrections Policy
Last updated: September 5, 2026
Troubliq welcomes specific, evidence-based corrections. Accuracy and reader safety take priority over preserving previously published wording.
How to report an issue
Use the Contact page and include the page URL, the statement or step in question, the relevant platform and version, what you observed, and a current official source or reproducible evidence when available. Never submit passwords, tokens, private addresses, serial numbers, or unredacted logs.
How corrections are evaluated
- Confirm the exact claim and affected versions.
- Check current primary documentation and maintainer information.
- Distinguish a general error from a device-, version-, or environment-specific exception.
- Correct the page, clarify uncertainty, or add a limited exception as the evidence requires.
- Update the review date when the technical guidance materially changes.
What we correct
We correct factual errors, unsafe sequencing, broken or obsolete instructions, unsupported claims, misleading compatibility statements, incorrect links, and material omissions. Minor spelling or formatting changes may be made without a separate correction note.
Transparency
When a correction materially changes the recommended action, safety advice, or conclusion, Troubliq will add a concise correction note to the page. Requests to change accurate coverage for promotional reasons are declined.
